Ramakrishnan Viraraghavan, with nearly 40 years of litigation experience and as the author of The Law of Goods and Services Tax, offered in-depth insights into the constitutional and legislative nuances of GST. The audience posed numerous questions, including the scope of direct vs. indirect taxes and the future of GST litigation. While time constraints limited the discussion, Mr. Viraraghavan emphasized the growing significance of indirect tax practice, as well as the opportunities presented by the upcoming GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT).
