Mr. Viraraghavan has nearly four decades of experience, the Chambers of Ramakrishnan Viraraghavan specializes in international and domestic arbitrations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London and a member of the arbitration group of 33 Bedford Row. He has been instructed in numerous international commercial arbitrations, including cases seated at The Hague. His expertise extends to various sectors, including infrastructure projects, effluent treatment and desalination projects, and international joint venture disputes. Mr. Viraraghavan has successfully appeared before the Supreme Court and High Courts in matters challenging or defending arbitral awards, depending on challenging enforcement of foreign awards and in matters relating to appointments of arbitrators.

His experience spans sectors, including shareholder disputes, infrastructure projects, and government company-related arbitrations.
Appointment as Arbitrator
Mr. Viraraghavan's expertise in arbitration is recognized internationally. He has been appointed by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). He is currently an arbitrator in a panel of three arbitrators for a high-value shareholder dispute between parties based in Mauritius and India.
